Rental Conditions 2013
The agency Parc Mont-roig SCP acts as an intermediary by order and on behalf of the owner of the accommodation.

Account payment: at the time of registration must lodge a deposit 40% of the total amount of the booking. Payment: payments can be made in cash, by bank transfer or credit card (Visa, MasterCard). Then you will receive via e-mail your voucher which must be delivered to our reception to take the keys of the booked accommodation. Remaining payment: shall be 30 days before the date of entry provided in the reservation contract.
Booking charge: 15.00 Euro fee for reserved accommodation.Advertised prices correspond to the property lodged by the number of people mentioned on the booking confirmation, including children and babies as number of people. The agency could prohibit the entrance to the property if the number of people exceeds the allowed.
Additional person: 10.00 Euro per day. Occupations in excess of the maximum capacity indicated will not be accepted, without prior notification and acceptance by us.
Groups of young people: The agency reserves the right to cancel reservations if the people renting the accommodation are a group of young people less than 21 years.Services included: delivery of the booked accommodation equipped for everyday use and in proper condition of cleanliness. The price given includes gas and water, Electricity is included up to a maximum consumption of 100 kW / week; the price per kW in excess of the maximum consumption is 0.20 Euros.
Bed-linen, table-clothing and towels are not included
Optional bed-linen rental: 7.00 Euro per person and change. Optional towels rental: 3,00 Euro per person and change.Time of arrival: on the first booked vacation day between 16.00 and 19.00 h. (4 to 7 pm).
If you are arriving after this time, you must inform the reception staff by 19.00 h. at the latest. If we have not received prior notice of arrivals after 20.00 h. the agency cannot guarantee the safe delivery of keys. If arrival is after 21.00 h. add a supplement of 50.00 Euros. We also inform all customers that arrivals after 00.00 h. will not be admitted. Time of departure: on the last booked vacation day between 9.00 and 10.00 h. (9 to 10 am).Deposit: on arrival at the reception you should pay a deposit by credit card between 100.00 and 400.00 Euros (depending on the booked accommodation) The return of the deposit is made the first working day after departure once the accommodation has been inspected by our personnel provided that no damage has been caused and that the accommodation is left in the same state it was found in: the accommodation must always be cleaned before leaving, all kitchenware, crockery and cutlery must be clean, the rubbish must be taken out, the fridge and freezer must be empty and no food should be left in the property. There is the possibility of hiring the optional final cleaning service on departure: between 35.00 and 150.00 Euros depending on the type of housing that is occupied.
Maintenance of swimming pools and gardens:
- Homes with private pool: the agency is responsible for maintaining the pool.
- Homes with communal swimming pool: the maintenance of the communal swimming pools is under the responsibility of the corresponding owner-community. The swimming pools use to be opened from June to October, but we have no influence on their usability. Only tenants of the according accommodation have access to the swimming-pools. The customer must respect the schedules and rules for use of communal pools. In the case of breach of the rules for use, the agency may cancel the reservation and request the removal of the accommodation.Pets: supplement of 35.00 Euro per week. Pets will be only allowed, with prior notification and acceptance by us.
The customer must keep the accommodation and all furniture and equipment in the same state of repair and condition as at the commencement of the stay, and leave the accommodation in the same state and general order in which it was found. The client is responsible for all damage or loss which occurs to the property. All damage must be indicated immediately to our reception. The person signing is responsible for the correct and decent behavior, such as avoid noise, especially during the times of rest. The wastes should be deposited in plastic bags in rubbish bins. Any personal valuables left at the accommodation are left at your own risk: neither the agency nor the property owners are responsible for their loss.
Modifications of booking
After the client has received the booking confirmation, the booking will be binding in the agreed terms: changes can still made where possible. Each modification will be charged at 25.00 Euro.Cancellation of booking by the client:
The client can contract a cancellation guarantee which covers (job dismissal, accident, illness and death).
The agency must be informed of the cancellation in writing. In no case shall any amount be refunded if the cancellation is made 1 day before or the day of entry. Cancellation charges:
- If the cancelation is made over 60 days before arrival: 10% of the total amount, being the minimum rate of cancellation 100.00 Euro.
- Between 59 and 29 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount of the reserve.
- Between 28 and 2 days before arrival: 80% of the total amount of the reserve.
- 1 day before or the day of arrival: 100% of the total amount of the reserve.Cancellation or alternative by the agency:
In the case of Force Majeure (damages caused by water, war, fire, etc.) or unforeseen irregularities into the reserved accommodation, the agency will substitute the reserved accommodation for another of similar characteristics, or cancel the booking and refund the customer the total amount paid.Complaints:
Should you find some deficiencies in the reserved accommodation, we ask that you tell us about it so we can provide a solution. If our staff is not able to resolve it the agency will offer an alternative solution with similar characteristics. The agency does not will assume any responsibility for any subsequent complaint if there has not been any previous notification about it during the client stay. The agency will not take responsibility in the following cases:
- Negligence or omission of services provided by third parties.
- In cases of force majeure or unforeseen setbacks like fire, explosion, flooding or utility cuts
- Robbery or damages inflicted by third parties.
- The use of swimming pools, children's play areas and sports facilities of any kind, are these the exclusive responsibility of the user.
- Works or building work in the vicinity of the holiday property.Tax on stays in tourist establishments in Catalonia: € 0,50 per person and day (for a maximum of seven days’ stay per person), except children aged sixteen or under. It will be paid in cash on arrival.
