Savinosa Beach
Very close to the city of Tarragona, the beautiful Savinosa beach is 350 meters long. With crystal-clear, shallow water, it offers basic services such as showers and public restrooms, as well as lifeguard stations and pedal boat rentals. It also has a beach bar where you can have a drink to cool off on the hottest days. It is important to note that this beach is divided into two sections, with one area designated as a nudist zone.
Arrabassada Beach
Arrabassada beach is also very close to the center of Tarragona, about 2 km away. It is 500 meters long and is a favorite among locals, as well as tourists and visitors. Bordered by low cliffs and full of palm trees, it brings an exotic touch to this fantastic urban beach. The sand quality is excellent, and the water is clear and crystalline. It features showers, public restrooms, lifeguard stations, and two beach bars. Additionally, you can rent sun loungers during the summer season.
Miracle Beach
It is the most accessible beach of all from Tarragona city. With a length of nearly 1 km, stretching from the Fortí de la Reina to the city port, it features good facilities and basic services such as restrooms, showers, and lifeguard stations. As a bonus, it offers free shaded parking, which is always appreciated. As a fun fact, the Tarragona International Fireworks Contest is held every year in June, and the views of the contest from Miracle Beach are incredible.
El Dorado Beach
Very close to Cambrils, located 1 km from the center, you can walk there and enjoy a nice stroll before sunbathing. The good thing is that it is not close enough to be overcrowded, unlike other beaches much closer to the town center. It is an extensive beach, 1 km long and crescent-shaped. Protected by rock breakwaters, El Dorado beach is perfect for the whole family and ideal for little ones, as the breakwaters make the entry into the water gentle with hardly any slope.
La Llosa Beach
This is one of the best beaches on the Costa Dorada if you are looking for a quiet, uncrowded place to sunbathe and swim. It is located 600 meters south of the fishing port of the town of Cambrils, is M-shaped, and, like El Dorado, is protected from the waves by breakwaters. It offers good amenities such as showers every few meters, restrooms, lifeguard stations, as well as sun lounger and umbrella rentals. It has many beach bars and restaurants where you can enjoy the fantastic local gastronomy.
Regueral Beach
This is Cambrils’ main beach, located next to the town’s yacht club. It has excellent facilities, equipped to handle large crowds, with plenty of showers, beach bars, toilets, sunshade and sun lounger rentals, lifeguard stations, and more. It is the largest beach in Cambrils, 1.3 km long, and offers a wide range of activities to keep you entertained all day long.
Esquirol Beach
Esquirol Beach is located 2 km from the center of Cambrils, in the direction of Salou. It is a family-friendly beach with fine sand and a length of 1 km. Perfect for water sports enthusiasts, you can find a sailing school to practice windsurfing, ride a banana boat, or paddle on a paddle surfboard, for example.
